Overview

Taking a temporary job to help pay his university fees proves to be much more than Jon had bargained for. Faced with ruthless employers and difficult working conditions he soon realises that he has made a serious mistake. However quitting isn't an option he can readily choose. After spending time travelling in Central America, Paul Brunton a.k.a. Docker, his tribal name, settled on Hulme Island, where he became involved with the predominately female art movement who welcomed him as one of their own. He is currently working on a new novel, provisionally titled The Diggers. Necessary Illusions is Paul's first novel.
