Author Information

Jeff Julia is a subject matter expert, engineer, author and advisor focused on sharing his insider experience with professionals of all kinds to promote understanding, trust and business success. He is the founder Energy Project Advisors which serves as an objective advisory firm assessing the integrity and validity of energy saving projects. Previously, Jeff worked with Noesis Energy after moving to Austin, TX from Boston, MA in 2015. There, he collaborated with a wide range of energy efficiency providers and utility companies such as Digital Lumens, Service Logic, Thermal Mechanics and Pacific Gas & Electric to support their business development teams with financial modeling and presentation strategy as an energy project consultant. In Boston, Jeff actively developed energy efficiency projects for a wide range of clients including the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Brown University, Babson College, Clark University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), John Hancock, Ariad Pharmaceuticals and Angell Animal Medical Center. With RISE Engineering, Jeff partnered with local utility companies, Eversource and National Grid, to provide his clients with the most impactful and beneficial projects that achieved their goals. His clients included non-profits, colleges, industrial businesses, biotech firms, multi-tenant office buildings, retail stores and restaurants amongst others. He began his career in energy engineering and project management with GreenerU on a wide variety of unique energy efficiency projects. Jeff holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University's acclaimed College of Engineering while minoring in Business Administration. Jeff lives in Austin, TX with his wife Abby.
