She also serves as a Professional Conference Consultant for the Alzheimer's Association, San Diego/Imperial chapter. She has a Master's Degree in Public Health and a Doctorate in Education with 28 years of experience in the area of Health Promotion and Eldercare. As a California RCFE, Department of Social Services-certified trainer, she provides training to staff caregivers, home aids, and administrators. She has presented her work at several national and international conferences and published in The Gerontologist, The Hospice Journal, The Journal of Gerontological Nursing, and other scientific, peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Beach is currently an Adjunct Professor for the San Diego Community College District and CSU San Marcos.
