His area of research is in phase change materials, nano-enhanced phase change materials, hybrid solar photovoltaic systems, dye sensitized solar cells, self -cleaning of PV modules and energy and exergy analysis of renewable energy systems. B. Kalidasan completed his doctoral of philosophy from School of Engineering & Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia in 2024. He is basically a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Anna University Chennai in 2013 and also holds Master of Technology in Energy and Environmental Engineering from VIT University-Vellore, India in 2015. He holds research expertise in the field of renewable energy, thermal energy storage, phase change materials and solar thermal system.
