Author Information

Kate Pickering is a teacher, trainer and writer based in Madrid. Before working on Navigate, she had written other student's and teacher's books for adults and teens & materials for the Oxford Online Skills Program. A regular speaker at teachers' events in Spain and elsewhere, she combines writing with her work as Director of the Language Teaching Centres at International House Madrid and training in-service and on Cambridge CELTA and DELTA programmes.Mark Bartram has been a teacher, teacher trainer and materials writer for more than 30 years. He has taught and trained in Italy, the UK, Belgium and Hungary. He currently teaches on pre-Masters courses at the University of Oxford and trains teachers for the Cambridge Delta qualification. He has published books for several international publishers, including course books for teenagers and adults, plus titles on grammar, skills, ESP, methodology and exams. His titles for OUP include Venture and Think English for Italian high school students, High Spirits on Holiday for middle school students, and a Business Result Teacher's Book. He has also written exams for the Oxford proficiency tests.
