Reviews

The strengths of the volume are found in its readable entries, end references, and diverse coverage. A good title for undergraduate programs and large public libraries, and a good general source for both women's and Native American studies.
- Choice, December 2001
The list of contributors is a veritable who's who of persons working in the field of Native American studies.... Overall this volume is exceptional...recommended for academic libraries as well as public and high school libraries that need a new resource in this area.
- Booklist/RBB
