Author Information

I was a boy raised in Downers Grove, Illinois. I grew up in slummy Chicago streets and beautiful North West suburban back yards. Had a rough life growing up but also had it very easy. To explain, I didn't have anything really growing up but a few good friends and dis functional family. I had to grow up quick and was exposed to things other kids my age couldn't comprehend. I came to an understanding with everything around me and figured out I wasn't able to change nothing but myself. I learned through every experience either good or bad in my life, it had a purpose to teach me something and I have grown wiser through my years because of it. I figured out my purpose and it was to write this book for everyone else to learn from. I am Robert Lee Pettrone, and this is my story as well as yours.
