From 1998 to 2002, he worked for the Government of Greenland in Nuuk as a management assistant in the Government Secretariat and as head of office in the Office for Foreign Affairs. His current research focuses on the postcolonial relationship between Greenland and Denmark, on the politics of sustainability in the Arctic, and on the identity politics and conflicts of Danish Muslim relations'.
