London at the dawn of the 19th century! It's a world where the ambitions and passions of people of all statuses come to a head, one that is on the brink of revolution! After being taught by Napoleon and escaping from the island of St. Helena, the gardener Matiew relies on his fragments of memories to lead him to disembark into the city of London, England. There he meets Lily, Tony, Earnest and others... all children who grew up living a tough life in the age of turbulence that was the Napoleonic Wars. Upon coming to know the ""Lady in Black"", a woman who wishes to advance her position in life through the grand parties of London, and of her desire to create the ideal garden, Matiew feels a deep fondness for her. Seized by a passion to see her once again and to talk with her about her garden, Matiew finds himself knocking on the door of the residence of the Lady in Black.
