Naomi's Daughters: A Basic Training Guide Designed to Assist Senior Women in Providing Life Transformation Activities and Support to Younger Women In Crisis

Overview

There is an apparent need for providing supportive, caring, compassionate outreach services to all people but, especially to young women who may be parenting alone without family or local community support. It has been found that many young women are hurting and experiencing emotional pain and have no one to turn to for support. At sometimes in our life we all have experienced a crisis. When we face a crisis we need somewhere to turn and someone to confide in. We all need someone to help us as we face some of life's difficult challenges. All of us have come upon crucial moments when we have to make a decision, solve a problem, deal with a significant issue, or confront an agonizing or terrifying situation. At such times we need assistance, we need someone to share our burden. In today's fast moving, socially isolated society, many people often need help but, find it almost impossible to find anyone who is willing to share their burdens. This may be because no one is available or willing to listen and care. Mental health professionals have predicted that with the widespread breakdown of caring and meaningful relationships in the family and local communities. The incidents of mental health-related problems will increase to the point of where 95% of hospital beds may be taken up by people experiencing mental and social stress and problems. They have further suggested that social isolation and lack of self control will be the cause and consequences of future mental and/or emotional related disorders.
