I started studying the pioneering research of Dr. Feynman after being reminded of his famous lecture titled: There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom. This discourse was presented at an American Physical Society meeting at Caltech on December 29, 1959. Feynman considered the possibility of direct manipulation of individual atoms as a more powerful form of synthetic chemistry than the methods used at the time. This became nanotechnology

Jon Schiller received the BS in Physics from Caltech and the PhD in EE & Math at USC. He worked at Autonetics division of Rockwell from 1956 thru 1974. He has authored more than 20 books ranging in topics from Options Trading to action novels such as Multihulls & documentaries such as Global Change.
