His group has been engaged in the design and synthesis of functional nanomaterials, especially MOF-based materials. He has published more than 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals such as chemical society reviews, advanced materials, and energy & environmental science. He is Member of the editorial board of FlatChem and Rare Metals, Young Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Inorganic Chemistry and Chinese Chemical letters, and Managing Editor of EnergyChem.
