He obtained his Ph.D and Sc.D from this Institute and then he worked in the Moscow Scientific Institutes. Now he is Chief Scientist in the Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences (Chernogolovka, Moscow Region). Author of 430 scientific publications including 11 books and 70 reviews. He is a tutor of 33 Ph.D students and 6 Sc.D. Scientific fields: nanomaterials and their stability; size effects; superhard films; high-melting point compounds (carbides, borides, nitrides) and hydrides; consolidation of nanoparticles. Arsen V.Khatchoyan was graduated in Erevan State University (speciality – nuclear physics). He obtained his Ph.D in 1971 from the Moscow physical/technical Institute and now is working as senior scientist in the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Material Science Problems, Russian Academy of Sciences (Chernogolovka, Moscow Region).Author of 40 scientific publications.
