Overview

Harry has studied for years to get to the pinnacle as a research undergraduate in Medical Science. He looks at the crossroads in his research and decides to take a break whilst he decides his future directions. He feels he has exhausted his intellectual endeavour but needs to harden up physically. He decides to join the Army and volunteers for SAS duties in Afghanistan. Two things become patently obvious. War is unwinnable when fighting under the rules of the Western forces. The decision to join the Army and go to Afghanistan was the stupidest decision he ever made. Rather than waste his time he volunteers to find a better way to fight. By using his advanced knowledge of Medical Engineering he develops the ultimate killer protocol, only to find that the obstacles are not so much in the engineering as in the attitudes of the Defence Forces of the Western World.
