She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and has made significant contributions in the fields of environmental monitoring, water purification, nanomaterials, and green chemistry. Dr. Roy has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed research publications, contributed to several book chapters, and holds an impressive portfolio of 44 national and international patents in cutting-edge areas including environmental technologies, AI-based systems, and sustainable innovations. With deep expertise in advanced analytical techniques (ICP-OES, AAS, HPLC, FTIR) and a strong track record of leading multidisciplinary research projects, she actively drives innovation in pollutant remediation, circular economy, and smart environmental solutions. Ms. Shivani Garg is an esteemed assistant professor at the Institute of Environmental Studies, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. As a doctoral candidate, her research focuses on soil science and sustainable agriculture. With a rich background in education and a profound expertise in sustainable development, soil science, environmental issues, climate change, nanotechnology, and energy resource management, she stands as a pivotal figure in the academic realm. Lai’s main research interests are in the areas of chemically modified/functionalized metal oxide photocatalysts and carbon graphene materials, especially for sustainable development to diverse the inclusive science, technology, and innovation in environmental pollution management and energy storage technology. As a scholar and an indication of the global impact of research work (top 2% scientists in a global list), Lai’s works have been published in more than 300 refereed international top-tier journals with Scopus h-index of 49, 8 patents (granted 3 patents), 100 book chapters, and 100 international proceedings in materials science, physics, chemistry, and renewable energy researches. Lai’s research findings aid in building the fundamentals knowledge and groundbreaking industry collaboration experience with many multinational companies/institutions/NGOs.
