Namibia Discovered is a collection of photographs recording a first visit to a unique and remarkable African country. The fifteen day self-drive tour began in late March, 2016. Places visited included the Namib-Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein and Camp Kipwe in Damaraland, Etosha National Park and Okonjima Plains Camp. The author is a biologist and award-winning photographer who lived in South Africa and Zimbabwe for 25 years before returning to the United States in 1980.
