Overview

In the sweltering summer of East Vancouver, Harmony Studios is a basement sanctuary for musicians, run by the gruff but talented Jerry Caldwell and his young, sleep-deprived engineer, Dave Hutchinson. The dynamic shifts when Dave meets Rose Banks, a brilliant recent music composition graduate, on a bus. Rose is hired as the studio's in-house composer, bringing order and magic to the chaotic sessions. However, beneath the creative success, the studio is drowning in debt. Jerry owes significant sums to a loan shark named Marcus Vega, and Dave is secretly battling a gambling addiction. Rose, meticulous by nature, begins to notice financial discrepancies in the studio's books.
