Justin Akers Chacón es activista, sindicalista y educador viviendo en la región fronteriza de San Diego-Tijuana. Es profesor de la historia chicanx en San Diego City College y el autor de The Border Crossed Us y Radicals in the Barrio.Mike Davis (1946-2022) era profesor emérito de escritora creativa en UC Riverside, historiador, activista y autor de muchos libros aclamados, incluso City of Quartz, The Monster at Our Door y Planet of Slums.
