Overview

Two powerful brothers, separated at birth, find each other after being tortured and turned into vampire killing machines by sinister forces for use as weapons of Dark Ages warfare. They were fierce when starved and then unleashed into battle and slaughtered an astonishing many. But while being immortal, they were not immune to manipulation, lies, betrayal, or their own growing desires for truth and morality in a brutal world. Upon further transformation into creatures even more powerful than all the vampire elders, they struggle in their quest to maintain peaceful lives across history, from Medieval times to Nazi Berlin and present day USA, searching for answers to existence. Shannon Lee started writing, not because she wanted to, but to prove she could. At a young age, and even in high school, classmates had told her that she couldn't write and may as well give up on the idea. Yet the spark for writing and storytelling founded by her teachers in the sixth grade had since become a passion. Starting off with fan fiction, Shannon Lee has since moved on to the vampires. She has a fondness for not just the creatures of the night, but also the monsters of myth and legend. Dragons, basilisks and other beasts that deserved a new perspective. The concept to combine the two brought forth the idea of Mythic Blood. She hopes to not just inspire others to read, but for them to learn of history. What started out as a challenge, became a passion. When asked whom are her books dedicated to, Shannon Lee proudly says without hesitation.
