Overview

Myriad Thoughts is the first book of poetry written by me. Nature, city life, modern day life and its issues, helplessness of women, loneliness and impact of globalization are portrayed in this book of poems. These perms are the thoughts that came to my mind in different times on different occasions. The simple poems from a person writing for the first time may not be technically sound. But these poems are emotionally charged to touch the heart of the readers.

Swapnalee kakaty is an Associate Professor in the Department of English, Darrang College, Tezpur, Assam. She has done her Ph d from Tezpur University, Assam in Gender Studies. She has teaching experience of more than 30 years. She is interested in Translation and translated two books so far.
