Reviews

`I love the book. There are a few specific bits that I really appreciated in its capacity to build inquiring learners. The lab activities, while small, are designed for inquiry and not cookie-cutter-table-fillers. They really build on the idea that students should experience events that prompt questioning and the application of knowledge. They aren't the 10 page epics that I am used to and I appreciate that. In fact, I think that students will be able to get more out of this than the others. The units are built into wider topics such as transformation and energy, rather than content areas. This is an outstanding way to help students see the sciences as intertwined topics of study and not as discrete silos of information. As a teacher of DP Biology as well as MYP, it was great to see the vertical alignment to get students ready for success later on.' John Kish, Rufus King International School, WI, USA
