I enjoyed reading Mykal the Monkey Is a Super Unique Beast by Beth Davis. I am confident that children will also be intrigued by her work. The wholesome relationship between Mykal and his dad is beautifully conveyed through the storytelling and the illustrations. All children would benefit from seeing children with ""Unique"" conditions as leading characters. Children with disabilities will feel encouraged to dream big, and those without will learn to be more accepting. Mykal goes on an awesome adventure, and I was genuinely happy to see him find his treasure.
