Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Mahendra Rai is a Senior Professor and UGC-Basic Science Research Faculty at the Department of Biotechnology, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Maharashtra, India. Presently, he is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland. He was Visiting Scientist at the University of Geneva, Debrecen University, Hungary; the University of Campinas, Brazil; Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland, VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, National University of Rosario, Argentina, and the Federal University of Piaui, Teresina, Brazil. Dr. Rai has published more than 400 research papers in national and international journals with 71 index. In addition, he has edited/authored more than 60 books and 6 patents. The main focus of his research is Myconanotechnology and its applications in medicine and sustainable agriculture. Dr. Patrycja Golińska, currently works at the Department of Microbiology at Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) as an Associate Professor. She received a fellowship from the Marshal of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship for the best doctoral students in 2006 and from the NCU in 2011 to complete one-year postdoctoral internship at the School of Biology of Newcastle University, UK. She has fourteen years of teaching and eighteen years of research experience. Dr. Golińska scientific contribution encompasses 46 original and 13 review articles, 14 book chapters, and editor of one book. She has received the grant within the Horizon Europe programme of European Commission. The main focus of Dr. Golińska research is the biosynthesis of metal nanoparticles, mainly by actinobacteria and fungi, and their use to combat bacterial and fungal pathogens, the study of actinobacterial diversity in extreme biomes and the use of actinobacteria as biocontrol agent of fungal phytopathogens.
