My World in Motion

Overview

Get to know the real Jo Whiley - she is not only a well-known and much respected DJ but also a mother to four children, a wife, a daughter and a sister. Championing young bands and presenting the BBC coverage of Glastonbury is only part of her story. Through simply being herself and maintaining her passion for music she has become a media icon and an award-winning DJ. At the same time she has managed to hold on to her privacy. My World in Motion is as much about Jo's family life as it is about rock 'n roll royalty, and how she has managed to stay grounded as her career has gathered pace. But from early trips to Clash concerts, to her friendship with John Peel, attending Glastonbury with her children, and enthusing about the Arctic Monkeys before they were playing Wembley, for Jo Whiley, it all comes back to music.
