This is an interesting and inspiring book for us ordinary folks-as most of us are. it is about an ordinary person with extraordinary experiences. Warren makes it clear that as a sometimes lonely only child, he was an ordinary child from an ordinary family. it was not a family of strong religious faith-or of great material means. faith he would find down on the corner of Ellsworth St. and Bartram Ave, at Black Rock Congregational Church. Here, Warren would find extended family and spiritual support-sending him off to King's, and then Gordon College . . . and beyond that to Gordon Divinity school. Warren Biebel was, as he describes himself, just an ordinary guy, but someone, like the ordinary disciples Jesus chose, through whom God would do extraordinary things. The extraordinary things Warren has accomplished in his own family, in individual after individual, in youth program after youth program, in church after church, and yes, in community after community, are all told in an ordinary way to the glory of Jesus Christ and the God he has served. --Professor Rev. Born in 1928, REV. WARREN C. BIEBEL, Jr., has been communicating the Good News and hope of the gospel for more than seven decades, with a special focus on ministry to and with young people.
