OverviewAs I continue my journey of self-discovery, I've come to realize that my relationship with God continues to grow deeper and more fulfilling. I've decided to write this book of poetry and prayer, now my seventh in the series, based on a collection of photographs, mostly my own, and stories from my Catholic upbringing that I have always found intriguing. This book is about my annual silent retreat I've been making over the last several years at Manresa House of Retreats, a Society of Jesus (Jesuits) retreat center, located in Convent, Louisiana, on the banks of the Mississippi River, midway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. My Weekend at Manresa delves into the rich history of Manresa and illuminates the campus's historic buildings, dating back to the 19th Century. It also includes my personal thoughts, prayers, and poetry. I hope you enjoy it.
