The only ghosts or spirits that I had ever seen were in cartoons or movies so I wasn't concerned about anything. My wife and I had been to Jefferson several times and stayed in some cottages in town. He wanted to stay in a haunted hotel so we did. My thinking was that at least we were going to have a nice and quiet vacation. When we arrived, it didn't take long for my thinking to change.
