My Two Beating Hearts

Overview

What happens when your theoretical understanding of the heart collides with the reality of your own heart? In My Two Beating Hearts, a seasoned pastor and caregiver confronts the limits of his intellectual knowledge when a life-altering heart event shakes him to his core-physically, emotionally, and spiritually. With raw honesty and deep insight, he reflects on the gap between knowing and truly understanding, between offering care and needing it. This moving memoir explores the profound connection between body and soul, health and holiness, presence and purpose. Part spiritual journal, part pastoral reflection, and part call to wholeness, this book invites readers to examine their own hearts-both the ones that beat in their chests and the ones that shape their loves, fears, and lives.
