"Richard Paa Kofi Botchwey is an internationally published Ghanaian writer, Essayist, poet, author, and social entrepreneur. E-magine publishing in the United States of America published his first book, The Tale of an Orphan: a Lesson to Learn in April 2012. Afterwards, his tale has transcended beyond borders. He has traveled across Europe and Africa and has appeared on Pauline Long Show (SKY TV UK) and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) in United Kingdom. An organization in the United States of America known as UBAWA (Urban Books, Authors and Writers of America) ranked his book among their Top 100 Books of 2013. 
In October 2015, Richard was nominated for Black Entertainment Fashion Film Television & Arts (BEFFTA) Award in the Best Author category in United Kingdom. 
 He is the winner of Africa Youth Award for Literacy Excellence in 2015. 
Richard is a generational thinker and incredible business orientated young man who believes that, even in ashes, there is hope. 
Through his Non-profit organization (Orphan Trust Movement) he has helped many young people across Ghana and beyond with his amazing life story. Richard loves to travel, write, and listen to music.
