My Sad Book: A Picture Book on Understanding and Managing Emotions

Overview

In this heartfelt hardback picture book, children can go on a heroic journey with Koala as learns to make sense of and deal with sadness. Young children can feel sad for many reasons, but may not have the language to express how they feel. This charmingly illustrated, empathetically written book takes children on a supporting and reassuring journey with cute Koala as she experiences feelings of sadness. Alongside Koala, children learn to recognize their feelings and discover ways to make themselves feel better. My Sad Book provides the insight and vocabulary youngsters need to express how they feel and encourages them to talk about their feelings. With heartwarming, full-colour illustrations by Sara Ward, this book is perfect for children aged 3+. ABOUT THE SERIES: The My Feelings series invites young readers to identify and manage their emotions through heart-warming animal stories, developed in consultation with mental health professional, Clare Arnold.
