Overview

Purpose possesses the ability to jog your memory until you recall your spiritual reality and what is most important to both you and God in your LIFE! This led me to conclude that regardless of the vicissitudes of life: My Purpose Matters - Period! Coming to this decision was not an easy process having experienced multiple set-backs in my life. I realize now if we are not careful we could experience such measurable accounts of pain and sorrow that it seems as if life requires too much effort to live it. Causing withdrawal; lacking the desire to fight. It is the reflection of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane that comes to mind as He warred within Himself; painstakingly pondering if His purpose was worth such pain. Though I realize there is no comparison as Jesus was dying for the world, yet my world was dying around me. I knew, if I were to survive my personal Gethsemane, it would require me to introspectively look at purpose and my calling. As I did, matters were weighed as I sought the Father and His Spirit's counsel. There between the realms of living and simply existing I received an unction in my spirit to push myself using purpose as my type of get out of jail card. You see, purpose is so divine and of God that when you seek it, unfold it or manifest it you are actually executing the plans God has for your life. Purpose drew me closer to the Father and ultimately kept my mind centered despite what was collapsing around me. Not only did it allow me to press myself it also became the ministry instrument to push others to pursue their purpose. There is something about pressing beyond the pain of life that causes a stir of determination deep inside of you. I began to sense my worth and value amid the contrary attacks, I also realized the family of God globally needed a reminder in this same direction. One after another stood with me and walked out the process of life through purpose. It was amazing. Many were existing and not living and therefore understood the state I was coming through. The revelation of purpose allowed others a new perspective and meaning of life and the hope it stirs within us. My purpose grew into an entire series of thoughts, Facebook statuses, preached messages and bible studies. It is a trend that is still moving to this day. I discovered through my season of trials and testing that God's thoughts toward me were not evil but My Purpose Matters. How grateful I am that it does and He was willing to decree truth in my life. I am confident that your purpose matters as well and I want you to come along with me as we discover our life's importance. Let's build life on purpose together! Throughout this book, I share a storyline of my personal scenarios and how my adversary tried time after time to force me to discontinue my love and faith in God. You will read how God delivered me through a season of warfare and reminded me of the importance of purpose.
