Author Information

Aria Lee McIntosh was born in Chicago, Illinois, blending her Caribbean and American heritage with grace and pride. She began modeling at just four years old and quickly stood out for her confidence, natural presence, and joyful energy. Aria has been represented by major modeling markets in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Dallas, and has earned numerous awards recognizing her excellence in modeling, academics, and athletics. Despite her many achievements, Aria remains grounded and compassionate. She enjoys playing the violin in her school orchestra and finds joy in learning, performing, and exploring new forms of creative expression. Her vibrant personality, coupled with her humility and work ethic, continues to inspire those who know her. Tracy-Ann Ballack McIntosh was born at San Fernando General Hospital in Trinidad and Tobago and grew up in the small rural town of Talparo. From an early age, she discovered the beauty and power of words as a way to express emotion and connect with others. At just ten years old, she began writing and reciting poems at her local church, using her voice to inspire and uplift those around her. After migrating to the United States, Tracy-Ann continued to nurture her creative spirit. She pursued her studies at Michigan State University, earning degrees in Writing and Communication, where her love for language deepened. Though she chose not to pursue writing as a full-time career, it has always remained close to her heart. In her spare time, she writes poetry and personal reflections - a practice that allows her to stay connected to her roots, her faith, and her voice. Beyond her academic and creative pursuits, Tracy-Ann takes the greatest pride in her role as a mother. Her daughter, Aria Lee McIntosh, has become both her inspiration and her creative partner. Together, they share a bond built on love, imagination, and a shared desire to uplift others through art and storytelling. This motherdaughter duo shares a deep belief in the power of self-expression, identity, and faith. Their collaboration on this project is more than just a creative endeavor - it is a heartfelt mission to inspire brown-skinned girls, boys, and adults to embrace their natural beauty and to understand that their skin tone was chosen purposefully and beautifully by God. Through their work, Tracy-Ann and Aria hope to remind readers that every shade of skin tells a story - a story of strength, culture, and divine intention. They believe that true beauty radiates from within and that kindness, love, and unity are the most powerful forces we can share with one another. In a world still facing the challenges of racism and division, their message is simple yet profound: love who you are, cherish your uniqueness, and treat others with compassion. Their story is a celebration of faith, family, and the enduring beauty of self-love.
