Tabitha was born in Ontario, but spent her teenage years in Coldstream, New Brunswick, with her three brothers and one sister. With two working parents and a log house in the middle of the woods, Tabitha and her siblings spent many hours exploring the forests, fields, and streams surrounding the property. She now lives in Northern Quebec with her own two children, teaching high school English, where she explores the forests, bay waters, and islands surrounding her house.
