This book is a compilation of spoken poetry pieces based on Army life, The first section gives the readers a glimpse into how it feels to live and walk the corridors of Army homes, move every 2 years and make a new place home all over again. It also attempts to give the audience an unheard perspective from the point of view of the Fauji Home, Uniform and Trunk speaking. The second section is dedicated to the courage and valour of the bravehearts and to the strength, grit and resilience of their families, their wives and mothers in particular. It also aims to highlight the cost of war and how women and children suffer the most.The last section shares critical life lessons learnt so far.

Author Information

Neha Kapur Agarwal is a proud Indian Army brat and Army wife. She is a poet at heart, who is now venturing into the world of mindfulness coaching. She feels deeply and brings in the same empathy and emotion into her writing. She began her spoken poetry writing journey in Dec 2019, when she created her Facebook Page by the name of My Musing Diary and started posting there. She believes in gentle living, valuing things and people around her, finding joy in the little things and everyday experiences of life. Through her writing, she aims to sensitize people about Army life, war, its effects on women and children, disability rights and valuing life.
