Overview

It is 1952, and Krystyna is born amidst the smothering Great Smog of London. Two weeks later, she is abandoned. When she is whisked away to the remote North Devon coast and adopted, Krystyna begins a new life, blissfully unaware of the circumstances of her birth and abandonment. I have always been aware that I was adopted and have always felt happy about it. What I would have been more at ease with was being told something of my background. It cast a long shadow over me for most of my life never knowing who I really was. I live in North Devon with my husband, an elderly dog and teenage cat! I enjoy the countryside and visiting places of interest. I am a prolific reader of all genre. I also enjoy letter writing to friends and relatives.
