Keisha McGeachy was born and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland. She is the youngest sibling of two daughters. Her passion for creative writing began when she took a writing class at St. Mary's College of MD, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Afterwards, she graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore with a Master's degree in social work.
