Author Information

James D. Howard has been a radio personality for WDEF Sunny 92.3 since 1993 and has been working by Luther's side on the morning show since 2001. He has been a Chattanooga resident all of his life and cannot remember a time when he did not listen to Luther in the morning. James resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with his wife, Christy, his two daughters, Gracie and Lucy, and his dogs, Wilson and Lily. Holly Abernathy is a published writer and photographer. She got her start in broadcast communications at WDEF Radio as an intern in college, gaining experience in all aspects of the industry and has worked with Luther for over 16 years. She left WDEF as promotions director in 2007 after the birth of her daughter. She continues to do freelance work, secondary to raising her children, who were both born in Chattanooga.
