OverviewMy Life as a Commercial Diver is an autobiography following the author’s path from finding his way into commercial diving, firstly inshore and later offshore in the oilfield both in the UK and overseas. We follow his journey diving with air, mixed gas including saturation as well as atmospheric diving suits. It then follows his progress into running his own limited company and transitioning into training of commercial divers and finally into senior management. We follow his journey to become a certified diving supervisor and life support technician as well as a chartered health and safety practitioner. In his final role he was instrumental in the formulation of a European training and certification system for hyperbaric personnel.
