OverviewBorn with kidney disease and not expecting to live a long life, I tell the story of my many excellent medical adventures, including my experiences on the brink of the next life. Facing mortal uncertainty, I had to cope with a problem that wouldn't go away, and develop the attitudes and skills in diet, lifestyle, and exercise that helped me stave off my decline for decades longer than my doctors believed possible. Along the way there were amazing experiences, physical and spiritual, including some that baffle the scientific mind and may leave no alternative but intervention by an unseen intelligence beyond human conception. For those facing similar issues, or other health problems involving major organ systems, this book is a gold mine of practical information, things I wish I had known far earlier in life. For everyone else, I hope this story will engage and entertain you, and show ways that may help you cope with whatever problems and hardships you may face as you go through life.
