My Humongous Mess

Overview

What happens when your mess has a mind of its own? In My Humongous Mess, author Shannon Krohmer brings a relatable childhood moment to life with humor and heart. When a child walks into her room after school, the usual mess has turned into something much more savage: a wild, messy battleground! Stinky socks shoot her icy glares, a blanket beast roars to life, and an army of dust mites is on the move. Can the heroine clean up her act before it's too late? Told in playful rhymes and through the lens of imagination, this story turns an ordinary chore into an epic adventure. As the young protagonist confronts the chaos, she discovers that taking responsibility can be just as empowering as it is challenging. Both funny and thoughtful, My Humongous Mess is a joyful read that captures a relatable moment every parent and child will recognize: the struggle to tame a cluttered space.
