Recovering broadcaster, ""retired"" pastor, writer, Drew Snider was born in Vancouver, and has worked in TV variety (Rene Simard, among others), acted on radio, TV and stage, and spent 25 years as a TV/radio newscaster. Drew spent a total of 10 years as a pastor on Vancouver's Downtown East Side, and two-and-a-half years at the Mustard Seed Street Church in Victoria, and received the 2024 Community Contribution Award from the University of Victoria Athletics Department. Drew and Amelia Shaw live in East Sooke with a cat and two Fabulous Poodles. Between them, they have five grown children: Drew's kids, Aidan and Hannah Rose, and Amelia's daughters Jessica, Megan and Samantha.
