My husband and I pray daily for our grandchildren, so what a gift to be able to use these prayers from Proverbs to frame our prayers and then the suggested activities to apply each prayer are an added bonus. If you have grandchildren and you like to pray for them, you will love this book. --Barbara Miller Juliani, Vice President and Editorial Director, New Growth Press Grandmothers can't help but love their grandchildren. And because they love them, they also worry about them and want to the best for them. So what can they do? They can pray--pray that God will do what only he can do which is to save and sanctify their grandchildren. Most of us intend to pray this way, but our prayers can easily become rote, even when or hearts are heavy with affection and concern. Whether you live near or far away, the strategy begins with prayer. In the pages of this timeless book, find the support you need to anchor your prayers in scriptural truth. With the authors' winsome style, you'll find yourself drawn back day after day to engage in the greatest privilege of a grandmother--prayer.--Barbara Reaoch, Author, Making Room for Her; Children's Division Director, Bible Study Fellowship International Kathryn March, Pam Ferriss and Susan Kelton not only provide rich, biblical prayers structured around specific topics from the Proverbs, they also offer creative ideas to help grandmothers connect these truths to the hearts and minds of their children's children. Whether it's a grandmother or a faithful worker in ministry, the reader will be spiritually enriched to help draw the younger generation into the truth and lovingkindness of the Lord.--Jane Ross, Bible Teacher Whether a grandmother sees her grands every day or has to work hard at a long-distance relationship, this book is a welcome friend. The authors of My Grandmother is Praying for Me give grandmothers a roadmap for how to be a conduit of God's love and influence into the hearts and minds of our precious grandchildren. When the needs of my grandchildren feel overwhelming and I feel helpless, this book reminds me I hold in my heart the most precious gift I can give - a praying grandmother.--Sharon W.
