Author Information

The author is a retired pathologist who has worked in both the UK and at Harvard. On retiring from her busy career she discovered a passion for painting and has been represented by galleries in the United States and in France. Her previous career included teaching and writing medical textbooks so she is familiar with the latter process. Her books for children were motivated by the desire to inform her grandchildren about the differing cultures and sights in other countries. Her travels abroad for conferences or just holidays resulted in a wealth of photographs that are used to illustrate her children's books.
