OverviewJoin Romy and Celia as they visit Granny's new house for a sleepover... Romy and his little sister Celia are excited to sleep at Granny's house where they meet and make new friends. Romy meets Hersh, a Jewish boy and learns about some of his Jewish identity. Hersh is kind and patient as he giggles through Romy's curious questions. They're soon called in for dinner and Romy's Judaism journey is only about to begin... _ From the author: In recent times antisemtitism has reached a very disturbing high. In an effort to combat this we should lay positive foundations early. My aim is to contribute to de-mystifying the Jewish people and promote love and not to hate amongst our children. We must teach them that we are all God's children despite our outward differences and we should love each other as He loves us. It is my hope that in learning about, and celebrating our religious choices and outward differences especially regarding Judaism and the Jewish people, that it will increase our love and respect for each other and reduce antisemitism and xenophobia, not just amongst children, but amongst adults too. If we all commit to this goal then we are one step nearer to a world without antisemtitism and Jew hatred. _ Full Product DetailsAuthor: Janet BurkePublisher: Independently Published Imprint: Independently Published Dimensions: Width: 15.20cm , Height: 0.20cm , Length: 22.90cm Weight: 0.068kg ISBN: 9798325186776Pages: 28 Publication Date: 10 May 2024 Audience: Children/juvenile , Children / Juvenile Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order ![]() We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
