OverviewI was born in Jerusalem and raised in a West Bank settlement in a religious-Zionist home, moving through all the institutions of the machine. I believed everything I was taught with the conviction of someone who never had reason to question it. I was wrong. These essays document how I liberated myself from the ideology. What I witnessed from inside the system, what it took to see through the conditioning, what it cost to tell the truth, and what opened on the other side. Each essay explores a different piece of the journey: The trauma programming that fuses fear with identity How dehumanization becomes invisible to those inside it The personal reckoning that preceded the political one What happens when you can no longer hold the beliefs you inherited The mechanisms that keep entire populations from seeing what's in front of them What happens when the programs finally break I wrote this for anyone who wants to understand what it looks like from inside. For anyone questioning what they inherited. For anyone helping someone else find their way out. And for anyone who has been where I was and needs to know the path exists.
