Published in England in 1917, this is considered one of the earliest, most concise works on keeping wild pigeons and foreign doves in a backyard aviary. Written by one of the pioneers of dove keeping, included are details on dozens of species of wild pigeon and dove, as well as details about their housing, breeding and their care. One of the most highly recommended books on the subject. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface.
