The book was so entertaining for my preschooler through the beginning of 1st grade that it became a book that stayed in our car that he could use during drives. As a second-grade teacher, I found my students easily engage in these book activities. I have five students who do not know all the letters of the alphabet, and even fewer letter sounds. They also struggle with letter formation. I have this small group to use this book. The letters are big enough for easy reading and recessed with directional arrows. It makes it easier for the students to trace the letters with their fingers in the right sequence. The book also has pictures to connect with the letter sounds.
