Overview

This book is about a chubby little girl who loves to run, jump and play. Then one day, she found herself trapped in a wheelchair and it will be forever. This story tells of her trials and tribulations as she has gone through the past 20 years. Lisa's story continues as she is 56 now. She was reacclimated into school setting and went on to college. The story will make some cry but also laugh as you go on some adventures with her. The book should motivate and inspire as you read. It tells of her many challenges along the way and her never ending hope.

Author Information

My introduction to writing was in the form of poetry. My teacher at the time told me how to put words together in a poetic format. I came to enjoy rhyming and mostly all my poems are rhyming. I later took an interest in children's short story. In 1994 someone offered me the opportunity to get in to concert promotion and it was a good opportunity to write my book. It took me about two years to complete the project. I'll probably never get to write a sequel to this autobiography, but the thought is only in the back of my mind. I also continued to write poetry when the occasion warrant to. For now, my wish is that everyone who reads this book will appreciate life a little more because it can change in a second.
