A busy mother of 3, Lisa lost an infant child to an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). She spent many nights trying to help her young son cope with that loss. Lisa struggled to find words of her own for the situation. She continuously thought of ways that might help him understand the loss, or to bring light in an area of great sadness. Instead of trying to make sense of the tragedy she looked for a way to make them feel better about the situation. This is a great tool for parents to use to discuss such a hard topic. The illustrations are also very vivid and wonderful to go along with it.
