Overview

This Devotional and Prayer Journal was inspired by the Holy Spirit. It can be used during your devotions and times of prayer; to write what you believe the Lord is speaking to you, your concerns and issues. The Journal starts with a space for your name and the day it was started. There is a page for frequently called numbers, by placing them in the journal you will have easy access to them. Emergency numbers that you may need to call, your local emergency dispatcher or operator, your next of kin, parents or any other person you may designate as an emergency contact.There is a space to write down any allergies you may have, or if you are diabetic. These areimportant in the event that you are suddenly taken ill. Knowing if you are allergic to anything orhave a medical condition, will help emergency responders to provide treatment more quicklyshould the need arise. On page four, there are two columns; one for your prayer list, anyone or anything that you maybe praying for or prayer request for other persons and the other, to write the date down that theprayer was answered. The main pages of the journal has a space for the date, scripture reading, self reflections, prayersand affirmations. The Date is where you put the date that you are using the journal, usually on a daily basis. Scripture reading has a space for the scripture you are reading for that day. Your Reflections are just that, what do you think about what you have read. Prayers are prayers that you will feel impressed to pray from having read the bible verses of scriptures that you may personalize and use as prayers and finally affirmations. Affirmations are taken and adapted fromthe scripture, they are positive in nature; positive statements describing a desired condition inyour life. They may be a short sentence that you made from a verse of scripture declaring whatthe Lord may have said. It is usually written in the first person. These are used to replace negativestatements or thoughts. There are a few pages for notes, on these pages you can write anything else that comes to mind while praying.
